Spring Events 2016

Spring in Kalamazoo brings the return of Sandhill Cranes, Turkey Vultures, Blue Herons and Red-winged Blackbirds.  Chipmunks, Groundhogs, and Raccoons awake from hibernation.  Empheral wildflowers bloom before the leafy canopy shades the ground.  For people, Spring is a nice time to hike or bike or look for birds, wildflowers, or morels.
Many festivals and activities celebrate Spring in west Michigan
